Graduation Is

High school graduation is often considered a milestone moment, an occasion for celebration and excitement. Yet, for many students, it can also be a time of immense sadness and uncertainty.

Graduation marks the end of an era, the culmination of years of hard work and dedication. But it also signals the end of the familiar and the comfortable. The daily routine of attending classes, seeing friends and teachers, and participating in extracurricular activities will be over, never to return.

For some, the end of high school can be especially difficult if they have formed close relationships with classmates, teachers, or coaches. Saying goodbye to people who have played a significant role in their lives can be heart-wrenching, especially if they are not sure when or if they will see them again.

Furthermore, graduation can bring up feelings of uncertainty about the future. For some, the thought of leaving the familiar surroundings of their hometown and heading off to college or entering the workforce can be overwhelming. The future seems like a vast and unknown landscape, full of possibilities and pitfalls. It's hard to know where to start or how to begin navigating this new phase of life.

For others, graduation can be a stark reminder of the realities of growing up. Childhood is officially over, and the pressure to make decisions about the future can feel daunting. It's a time of big choices, and the stakes can seem higher than ever before. The weight of responsibility can be crushing, and the uncertainty of the future can feel like a heavy burden.
